Please join us on Monday, August 12, from 4:00-7:00 pm for our back to school open house. This is a great opportunity to meet your teachers and drop off your school supplies so you are ready for the first day of school. For the open house, students and families should start by going to their homeroom teacher’s classroom.

Please check your child’s blue folder weekly for graded work, important updates, and handouts. Also, ensure their lunch account has enough funds. Your involvement is crucial, and it helps us support your child effectively.
On their Google accounts, students will find information regarding upcoming tests, quizzes, and project due dates along with other important TEAM 5/6 and school events and information.
Students should take responsibility to routinely log in to the school FACTS website and check their most up-to-date grades and assignments. Parents can also log in routinely to help keep students accountable.
You may always feel free to contact us with any questions, concerns, or information.

In 5th & 6th grade, we have chapel and team time each week on Wednesday & Thursday. Our Wednesday chapels include a time of worship and devotions, lessons from different staff members, and guest speakers. Thursday is small group time where we meet together for “Team time”. Team time is our opportunity for small groups to meet together with an adult leader to dig deeper into that chapel’s lesson and talk about what was learned and how it applies to our lives. Over the past years, Team time has been a meaningful experience for our 5/6 students and have really helped to make chapel a great time of spiritual development.
To make our Team time a meaningful and growing time, it takes more than just our teaching staff. In past years, we have had parents who have volunteered their time to come to school each Thursday and lead a small group of either boys or girls. Please check your schedule and prayerfully consider if you might be available to volunteer during this school year on Thursdays from 9:18-9:48 each week. Certainly, we understand that special circumstances come up through the school year and when those arise we can cover groups who are missing leaders. Team leaders need to be approved LPCS volunteers, which involves filling out a form with the school office at the beginning of the school year.
If you are available/willing to commit to volunteer this year, please click here to let us know.
