THE GAME HAS CHANGED
Finances should never get in the way of excellent Christian education. We are thrilled to announce that, now more than ever, a Lakewood Park education is within reach for families across Northeast Indiana.
Recent amendments in the law have made 100% of Hoosier families eligible for the Indiana Choice Scholarship Program. If you are considering enrolling a new student, this could mean a significant reduction in your tuition for the coming academic year – at least $6,100 for residents of Allen County and $6,300 for Dekalb County.
NEW: LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP
We’re excited to share an update to our Legacy Scholarship through our partnership with the Lutheran Scholarship Granting Organization. A $5,000 scholarship is now available for all K–12 students who complete their enrollment at Lakewood Park Christian School (LPCS) by May 22, 2026, for returning students and by June 8, 2026, for new students, regardless of financial need. This special opportunity is available to both new and returning students. Please note that parents must complete the financial aid application process in order for any scholarships to be awarded.

NO MORE “TRACKS”
Great news! The old “track” requirement for Indiana School Choice has been eliminated. In the past, kindergarten students or students transferring from non-public schools often faced limited access because they were required to meet a specific eligibility “track” to qualify. As of July 1, 2026, those requirements are gone. Any student in grades K–12 is now eligible for the Indiana Choice Scholarship with no income requirement and no additional eligibility pathways to navigate. Indiana residency is required.
WHAT IF MY FAMILY QUALIFIED LAST YEAR?
This means there is no change for you unless your circumstances have changed in another way, as household income is no longer a factor in eligibility. Families should plan to follow the same process as last year, working closely with our financial team. We’re excited to expand our tuition programs and continue working hard to make more scholarships available to families.
MY FAMILY WAS NOT PREVIOUSLY ELIGIBLE BUT NOW WE ARE.
We recommend all families familiarize themselves with the updated requirements for Indiana Choice Scholarships, as eligibility has expanded and household income is no longer a determining factor. Indiana residency is required. To apply for a scholarship, follow the steps outlined below.
